A meeting with the Area of Language and Universities team at the Institut Ramon Llull in their headquarters in Barcelona during my internship there in 2017.
A photo of me taking part of a human "castell" (castle in Catalan), which is recognised as an intangible heritage activity by UNESCO. Each clan builds several tiers to reach the highest.
A group of students listen to me during an "Open Day" at the University of Liverpool for the subject of Classics and Ancient History. Here, I am using regalia to explain the use of ancient languages on artefac replicas, such as the Rosetta Stone (pictured).
In 2017 I was interviewed by Sky News as a "Catalan expert" for a live television interview to discuss the Catalan independence referendum that was to take place on October 1st of that same year.
One of my proudest achievements! After teaching Spanish at the University of Sheffield for a year in 2021, I was nominated by my students for an extremely prestigious and university-wide award in recognition of my teaching excellence.
As a visiting MFL teacher in various secondary schools in Spain, I delivered guest lectures and workshops. Here I am discussing the concept of "world languages" to a group of 15-16 year olds.
